THE SONG OF ACHILLES 100ML
RRP : 168,00€
Associated with the cliffs of Skyros, “the song of Achilles” was imagined as the elixir of heroism. It captures the emblematic scents of the Mediterranean in a sensual and intriguing fragrance: fresh and mineral but intense and perfumed. Built around a majestic duo of orange blossom and white musks, its fresh character is subtly warmed by solar notes of ylang-ylang and immortelle, while an overdose of geranium and moss brings an unexpected touch of fern. A signature that can only surprise and enchant.
“I recognize it by its salty immortelle scent.
Her voice is music and her breath shimmering.
A hero crowned with flowers and gold.
A true legend, an eternal soul.”
Top notes: Neroli - Lemon - Black pepper
Heart notes: Geranium - Orange blossom - Ylang-Ylang
Base notes: Immortelle - Vetiver - Musk
“Jean-David gave me the eponymous book by Madeline Miller. I wanted to capture the sensuality of the text, the “meaning of words” that emerges throughout the pages. I imagined a chameleon orange blossom on a bed of musks, alternately virginal and warlike, of which I wanted to capture all the nuances and complexity. I decided to associate it with the immortelle flower, with its characteristic warm and salty accents, a nod to the Mediterranean and a playful reference to the vulnerability of the Achilles heel. The geranium and the moss give the impression of a disguised fern, like the ambiguous feelings that unite the two heroes.” Alexandra Carlin
