Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil
Apricot kernel oil is made from the apricot kernel, which is a good source of vitamins A and E and contains essential fatty acids. It is excellent for moisturizing and nourishing mature, dry and sensitive skin as it is easily absorbed.

Macadamia Oil
The golden yellow oil comes from the Macadamia nut, a nut native to Australia. Similar to other vegetable oils, it is full of emollient and nourishing fatty acids. It is a high oleic oil that is ideal for dry skin. Its unique property is that it contains high amounts of a rare fatty acid called palmitoleic acid.

Phospholipid
Phospholipids are a type of lipid (fat) composed of glycerol, fatty acids, and phosphate. Phospholipids in skin care are valuable for many reasons, the main one being that they are hygroscopic, meaning they pull water from the surrounding air and hold it where more hydration is needed. Research also shows that phospholipids have antioxidant properties and are effective in helping to deliver other, more effective ingredients to the skin in cosmetics.

Squalane
Natural hydrocarbon component of olive oil. Squalane protects the skin from moisture loss, makes it soft and smooth and improves the structure of the skin's natural lipid barrier.

Tocopheryl acetate
Vitamin E acetate or tocopheryl acetate is a powerful antioxidant (free radical scavenger). It helps protect cellular components from premature changes and promotes the formation of new cells. Vitamin E acetate also has UV protection and inflammation-reducing properties.

Extract from Fomes Officinalis
A purified and concentrated active ingredient, extracted from the pulp of Fomes officinalis, a basidiomycete fungus that grows in Eastern Europe and is harvested in Russia. It has astringent, pore-tightening and skin-hydrating effects.

Urea
Urea is naturally produced by the skin and is part of the essential natural moisturizing factor (NMF) that regulates the skin’s moisture content. Urea is hygroscopic, meaning it is able to retain moisture in the outermost layer of the skin. It is also keratolytic, meaning it breaks down the bonds between dead skin cells and has anti-itch and antimicrobial properties. As such, it enhances natural exfoliation and soothes and smoothes the skin’s surface. As a substance naturally produced by the skin, urea is well tolerated by even the most sensitive skin types.

Hydrolyzed silk
Conditioning additive for all types of skin and hair products. Gives a luxurious, smooth shine to hair and leaves skin feeling silky. Derived from pure silk. Forms a protective film on hair and skin and is particularly recommended for dry and damaged conditions where it exhibits moisture retention properties.

USE
